Prior to the win over Hellas Verona, AC Milan defeated Bologna away from home and have finally got back to winning ways following a run of 6 games without a win, including a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Juventus.
Having defeated Hellas Verona in the Round of 16 in the Coppa Italia, AC Milan faced a tough match against Inter Milan, which they won 1-0 in extra-time and then faced Lazio in the semi-final. Both legs finished 0-0 and AC Milan won the tie on penalties, meaning they are also yet to concede a goal in the Coppa Italia this season.
