The English Premier League title race continues Saturday, February 25, so we are breaking down the Leicester vs. Arsenal clash from King Power Stadium in Leicester. The visitors need a win to remain top of the standings, and the home team has something to play for, too.

Leicester – Arsenal Betting Tip, Prediction & Odds (25.2.2023)

Leicester are only four points above the relegation zone, and the Foxes desperately need to get things going at home. The Gunners, on the other side, hope to extend their good run of form away from home. Arsenal have won nine of their 12 road contests in the league this season, while only Southampton have earned fewer points at home than Leicester.

Leicester vs. Arsenal: Initial Situation

The Gunners are topping the EPL with 54 points (W17, D3, L3) and a 51:23 goal difference. They are two points ahead of Manchester City, and the Gunners have a game in hand on the Citizens. Leicester are 14th with 24 points (W7, D3, L13) and a 36:41 goal difference.

Leicester Stats & Form

Last Sunday, the Foxes suffered a 3-0 at Old Trafford in Manchester. They couldn’t cope with Marcus Rashford, who bagged a couple of goals for Manchester United. After a couple of nice wins over Aston Villa 4-2 and Tottenham 4-1, the Foxes laid an egg, as only three of their 19 shots against Manchester United went on target.

Attacking midfielder James Maddison is a key player in this Leicester team. He’s recorded nine goals and five assists in 19 appearances this season. Maddison has struggled with a knee injury of late and is questionable to play against Arsenal. Winger Harvey Barnes has eight goals on his season tally, while midfielder Youri Tielemans has scored four goals thus far.

Arsenal Stats & Form

The Gunners returned to the driving seat following Saturday’s 4-2 road victory against Aston Villa. They overcame a 2-1 deficit from halftime, scoring a couple of goals in injury time. The Gunners outshot Aston Villa 20-7 and kept the ball in possession for 67 percent of the time, snapping their four-game skid in all competitions.

Winger Bukayo Saka leads the way for Arsenal with ten goals and eight assists in 31 appearances in all competitions. Striker Eddie Nketiah has bagged nine goals in 30 apps, and midfielder Martin Odegaard and winger Gabriel Martinelli have added eight goals apiece. Forward Gabriel Jesus, who’s accounted for five goals and seven dishes in 20 matches, is still recovering from a knee injury.

Leicester – Arsenal: Head-to-Head

Arsenal have won four straight contests against Leicester, including a 4-2 home victory in their first meeting of the season. Also, the Gunners have emerged victorious in three consecutive outings at King Power Stadium.

Leicester – Arsenal Odds

The Gunners are 1.70 favorites at bet365 Sportsbook. On paper, they are a better team than Leicester, and the Gunners are desperate for a win, as they continue to chase their first Premier League title since 2004. The bookmakers wouldn’t be surprised by a high-scoring affair, and the Over 2.5 Goals sits at 1.65 on Unibet Sportsbook.

Betting tip and prediction: Leicester – Arsenal (25.2.2023)

Arsenal should prevail over Leicester, especially if James Maddison doesn’t suit up because of a knee injury. However, I would rather take Both Teams to Score YES than go with the visitors to win. Leicester have scored six goals over their previous two home games, and Arsenal have conceded in three consecutive outings on the road. After a heavy loss at Manchester United, the Foxes will be fired up to find the back of the net against the Gunners, who shouldn’t have any problems scoring against Leicester.
