Betting Tip: Wycombe v Forest Green

This will be the first meeting between Wycombe and Forest Green so it’s one of those games where there’s no head to head form to look back at, which can make things tricky. Wycombe have been full of goals this season already but defensively they look a bit of shambles. That having been said, so do Forest Green as well. But after coming up from the National League, Forest Green actually aren’t doing that badly and this could be the highest scoring game of League Two on Saturday. Wycombe are 4/5 for the victory with Forest Green a big 10/3 shot.

Wycombe Form

Wycombe have done alright so far. They have scored at least two goals in each of their games and have earned a W2 D1 L1 record from that. They have yet to taste victory on home soil though with a point against Lincoln and a defeat against Notts County having been played out at Adams Park. The Chairboys may have a good chance to run up a few goals again as they take on Forest Green. All four of their league games this season has seen at least four goals in them and they have the third worst defensive record in the division so far but are the second-highest scorers.

Forest Green Form

Rovers have been involved in some thrillingly exciting games as well with plenty of goals around. They have the second-worst defence in the league at the moment having shipped 12, two more than Wycombe have. They haven’t produced the scoring power of Wycombe, but have netted seven goals in their four games so far which isn’t a bad return for a newly promoted side. They have lost both of their away games so far and took a 5-1 hammering at Colchester last weekend.

Head to Head News

No previous head to head to report between the two of them.

Top Betting Tips

Over 3.5 goals in the game for 21/10 at Coral screams some great value. There are two terrible defences going up against one another so it’s worth backing goals to happen. Forest Green have struggled out on the road more than they have done at home and will probably lose this one and there’s enough value to back the home side to claim three points.
