Betting tip and prediction: New York Knicks vs Indiana Pacers (23.05.2025.)
It’s only been one game but the entertainment level in the series between the Knicks and Pacers is already off the charts. With so many twists and turns, Indiana was able to pull off an upset in OT and now we have ourselves a series. There are a lot of things that’ll need to be fixed if you’re the New York Knicks, particularly on the offensive side of things as they relied too much on just two players Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson. Although the duo combined to score 78 points on very solid efficiency, down the stretch the Knicks just didn’t have enough to keep themselves afloat as time expired in OT. Defensively they also couldn’t do much about Tyrese Haliburton who got off to a hot start, dishing 5 assists in the opening quarter to tie a career high for any quarter in his young postseason career. And that pretty much sums up what the Knicks have to fix, all the pressure is on them not to allow Indiana to double their lead before the series shifts back to Indy for the next two games. History is still on the Knicks side thankfully, Wednesday’s loss was only the first time in 5 home games they let one slip away against the Pacers. With a different mindset and a better defensive approach we expect them to pull themselves together and level this series in front of another packed Madison Square Garden crowd.
