Oklahoma City Thunder vs Indiana Pacers: Current situation
Once again the Thunder were saved by their MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in Game 4, but they also had an unexpected hero in Alex Caruso who dropped 20 off the bench for the 2nd time in this series. It wasn’t the prettiest of games by the Thunder who recorded just 11 assist as a team and shot 3-for-16 from three, but the win is all that matters as they now have homecourt advantage back in their possession.
Indiana’s performance was really solid up until the 4th quarter in Friday’s game, but then they just stopped scoring the basketball at a high clip. In the end they lost by 7 points, despite leading by 7 entering the final frame, it was one of their most disappointing losses of the season and it couldn’t come at a worse time.
Oklahoma City Thunder Stats & Form
Entering Game 4 the Thunder experimented with starting Isaiah Hartenstein alongside Chet Holmgren for extra size on the interior, but that didn’t pan out as they expected it would so they had to make adjustments on the fly. Fortunately for them they were able to mount one of the most significant comebacks of the year and ultimately win the rebounding battle 43-33.
Indiana Pacers Stats & Form
Pascal Siakam is one of the players that got the Pacers to this point, but his disappearing act in the 4th quarter of Game 4 wasn’t pretty to see. The experienced forward and former champion with the Toronto Raptors took just one field goal attempt in the final frame, when his team needed him the most. Head coach Rick Carlisle will obviously address that heading into Game 5, Indiana now has to win at least one more time on the road in order to capture their first ever championship.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs Indiana Pacers: Head-to-Head
Only Game 2 of this series saw a blowout win as the Thunder took care of business 123-107. The 3 other games were all decided by single digits, pressure is now back on the Thunder as they head back home for a crucial Game 5. This is the first time this postseason that the Pacers are tied at 2-2 in a series following the first 4 games played.

Betting tip and prediction: Oklahoma City Thunder vs Indiana Pacers (16.06.2025)
For the 4th time this postseason the Oklahoma City Thunder were able to come back from a double-digit deficit, as the Pacers’ lead ballooned to as much as 10 points in Game 4. Alex Caruso was once again the unsung hero following yet another 20-point performance, his 2nd in the series following a full regular season without him doing so. His experience is proving to be invaluable for this Thunder team, which is mostly filled with young players who are in their first ever NBA Finals series. OKC relied mostly on their paint scoring to win Game 4, as they won that battle 50-36. The three-point shot just wasn’t working, they shot a measly 18% from downtown in the win. It was a sluggish contest with a total of 71 free-throws combined by the two teams, as the series progresses the games are becoming more and more competitive and physical, which is understandable considering the stakes. Game 5 has the potential to be a momentum shifting game, whoever wins it will be just one win away from clinching the title in Game 6. Playing at home will be a massive boost for the Thunder who are 8-3 ATS in 11 home games this postseason, it’s really hard to argue with that number even if the spread is at 9.5 points going into Monday’s game. We recommend backing the Thunder here as they look to grab the lead for the first time in this series.
