Another stellar performance from the duo of Julius Randle and Anthony Edwards secured a vital win in Game 4 on Monday and now with a two game cushion the Timberwolves are in full control of this series. For Golden State things just aren’t looking good, especially on the offensive end where they just couldn’t match the energy of the Timberwolves. Once again head coach Steve Kerr dug deep into his bench in search of productive players, but as long as Stephen Curry is out this series is a foregone conclusion. Minnesota did a superb job at defending the three-ball, forcing the Warriors in tough shots all night long which resulted in just 8 of 27 shots going in. They also limited Jimmy Butler to just 9 field goal attempts total, unless Curry is somehow able to return here, we might be witnessing the last game of the season for Golden State on Wednesday.
