Indiana Pacers vs Oklahoma City Thunder: Current situation
Winning the 2nd and 4th quarters proved to be crucial for the Pacers who took care of business in Game 3. It was their 3rd game as the underdog in these NBA Finals and they don’t mind playing in that role at all. Haliburton and Siakam were the only two starters in double-figures, while the Pacers bench outscored OKC 49 to 18.
It’s not often you see Jalen Williams leading the scoring for Oklahoma City, but that was the case in the Game 3 loss on Wednesday. SGA shot under 50% from the field and finished with just 24 points, well below his standards. If there’s one positive the Thunder can take away from Game 3 it’s the fact that Chet Holmgren once again played well, finishing with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
Indiana Pacers Stats & Form
Turnovers and assists swung the game in Indiana’s favor on Wednesday. They took care of the ball a lot better than their counterparts from Oklahoma City finishing with 14 rebounds compared to 19 by the Thunder. That led to just 14 points conceded off turnovers for Indiana and 21 for the Thunder. Not a lot has been said about the Pacers defense in Game 3, but holding the Thunder under 47% from the field is an impressive feat.
Oklahoma City Thunder Stats & Form
For some odd reason the Thunder cannot connect back-to-back wins in this series and people are wondering what is going on. The majority of analysts predicted a 4-1 series win before the ball even tipped off, after this latest Pacers win that scenario is off the table. The way the Thunder players are playing though, I’m sure they’d settle for any win as long as they lift the trophy in the end.
Indiana Pacers vs Oklahoma City Thunder: Head-to-Head
Wednesday’s win for the Pacers was their 17th in 21 home games overall, while the Thunder failed to cover for the 8th time in a row on the road. Despite the last 4 of 5 meetings in Indiana cashing on the over, that did not happen in Game 3. Friday’s game will tell us if the Thunder are able to stay in this series or not.
Indiana Pacers vs Oklahoma City Thunder Odds
If you like the Pacers in Game 4 odds of 2/1 are available for a home win. Backing the Thunder to level the series will get you odds of 4/9.
The point total has been set at 225.5 points, with odds of 10/11 supporting either the over or the under.

Betting tip and prediction: Oklahoma City Thunder vs Indiana Pacers (13.06.2025.)
Once again for who knows what time this season, the Indiana Pacers bench won them the game. Indy relied heavily on the likes of Bennedict Mathurin who came up big with 27 and 4 rebounds, leading all scorers in Game 3. The ball just never moved for the Thunder in Wednesday’s loss, they ended the game with just 16 assists and when you’re playing a team like the Pacers that’s not going to be enough. Now the pressure is back on Oklahoma City, they must respond if they want to avoid going down 3-1. You can hardly say anything bad about the starters in Game 3, as 3 of them scored 20+ points, however the 24 points by SGA were modest by his standards as he averaged almost 35 points per game in 4 meetings prior to Game 3 with the Pacers this year. One of the adjustments for Game 4 will surely focus on the ball movement, SGA has to do a better job at getting his teammates involved as he had only 4 assist in Wednesday’s game. Indiana really has nothing to lose as they enter the 4th game in a row as underdogs, they’re getting all the benefits from playing in front of the home fans and despite losing the rebounding battle it didn’t make much of a difference. Game 4 is a must win game for the road squad, so let’s give them the benefit of the doubt and back the Thunder to win here.
