Jalen Brunson delivered once more with 32 points in just 34 minutes played, while Karl-Anthony Towns chipped in with 24 points and 13 rebounds. New York appears to have found something in this series, especially on the defensive end so it’ll be interesting to see if they can apply it in Game 6 on Saturday.

With the Oklahoma City Thunder comfortably waiting on the NBA Finals to begin, the Pacers and Knicks are still going at it in the Eastern Conference. Indiana is hoping this isn’t the last time they play in front of the home fans this postseason, we would argue there’s more pressure on them to win here because if this series goes to a 7th game at Madison Square Garden all the momentum will shift to the Knicks side of things. The Pacers’ approach in Game 5 was pretty disappointing, they entered the game thinking that they don’t really have to win and that mindset cost them the game as they lost in a wire-to-wire win for the Knicks. Pushing the pace is the number one priority on Saturday as that’s when the Pacers are at their best. New York has lost its touch shooting from three-point land in this series, the only reason they’ve been able to win the two games it’s because of their stellar defense. However, that effort isn’t sustainable in the long run as Indiana plays 10 or more players in their rotation and it’s difficult to contain that many players on a nightly basis.
