World Football 4-Fold

Domestic football returns to the forefront of everyone’s minds this weekend following the international break and there are some mouth watering games in prospect across the continent. This 4-fold has extremely long odds considering there are just four games in it, but the two away wins really boost the odds here.

Burnley vs Crystal Palace

Burnley picked up a shock 3-2 win away at Chelsea on the opening day of the season and they followed that up with a 1-1 draw at Tottenham Hotspur last time out. Last season it was their home form which kept them in the league, but they have lost their only home game of the season 1-0 to WBA this time around. This Sunday they take on a Crystal Palace side who have lost every single game in the league so far this season without scoring. I’m backing them to end that run on Sunday though with an away win at Burnley. Palace brought in Mamadou Sakho on deadline day and the France defender will help solidify a leaky backline.

Inter Milan vs SPAL

Inter Milan have been impressive so far this season, winning both of their two games and scoring six goals in the process. They were superb in their 3-1 win away at Roma last time out and you’d have to back them to continue that form against SPAL this weekend.

Lazio vs AC Milan

Another game in Serie A now and a much bigger one as Lazio host AC Milan. Both of these sides are unbeaten so far this season and Lazio followed up their Supercoppa Italiana Final victory against Juventus with a win and a draw in Serie A. Meanwhile, a resurgent AC Milan side who have spent plenty of money this summer, have started the season with back to back wins and I think they will make it three in a row on Sunday.

West Ham United vs Huddersfield Town

The final game of this 4-fold takes place on Monday night as West Ham United host Huddersfield Town in a game that the Hammers simply must win. Slaven Bilic is under huge pressure after starting the season with three successive defeats, but Monday is the first home game that the club will have played this season. They come up against a Huddersfield Town side who have surprised many people this season and currently find themselves in 3rd place in the table. I think West Ham United will break their duck and pick up a win in this one though.
