Stefanos Tsitsipas News & Form

The 20-year old Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas is the new star of the ATP Tour, and he’s coming to the Queen’s Club as the World No. 6. Tsitsipas is enjoying a wonderful year, winning a couple of trophies in Estoril and Marseille, showing he can be successful on both clay and hard surface. Also, he lost two finals in Madrid and Dubai.

Tsitsipas has a 32-13 record this season, but he lost to Nicolas Jarry 6-4 3-6 6-4 last week in his only match on grass in 2019. Stefanos won eight of his previous 15 matches on the grass court including qualifying rounds, and this will be his first-ever partaking at the Queen’s Club. Last year, Tsitsipas lost to John Isner in the round of 16 at Wimbledon.

Kyle Edmund News & Form

For the second year in a row, Kyle Edmund is the British top-ranked players, and he’s a World No. 30 at the moment. However, Edmund is really struggling this season, winning just six of his 16 outings, while he’s also having problems with a knee injury. He had to withdraw from the French Open after beating Jeremy Chardy in the first round in five sets. It was Kyle’s only victory over his last seven matches.

Edmund missed the start of the grass court season, trying to heal his sore knee. Kyle won five of his last ten matches on grass that was never his favourite surface. Last year, he exited in the second round at the Queen’s Club, losing to Nick Kyrgios in three sets. Edmund won just eight of his 24 matches on grass in his career, excluding the qualifying rounds.

Top Tsitsipas vs Edmund Betting Tip

Kyle Edmund will play in front of the home audience which is the only tricky factor. All other things point to Stefanos Tsitsipas who’s playing in a good form and is keen to bounce back from the last week’s defeat in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. The Greek has a solid serve and excellent groundstrokes, while his return is good enough to earn a few breaks against Kyle Edmund.

Still, the odds on Tsitsipas are not attractive, so take the Greek to win in straight sets. Another interesting wager is to take Tsitsipas to win the first set and a match at 8/11 with Betfair.
