Oklahoma City Thunder vs Indiana Pacers: Current situation
What exactly went wrong for the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 6 is a question that they have to ask themselves. After their opponent opened the game 0-for-8 from the field, everyone thought that the Thunder were winning that game. However, just 35 points scored in the 2nd and 3rd quarters combined put OKC in a very difficult position as they went down by as many as 31 points. The 17 point defeat looks a lot better on paper compared to how the Thunder played in that game.
For Indiana everything revolved around Tyrese Haliburton and whether or not he would be healthy in Game 6. The talented point guard not only played, but also had a massive impact on the game with 14 points and 5 assists. It was a all around team effort by the Pacers who were carried by a sold out arena as they forced a Game 7 decider.
Oklahoma City Thunder Stats & Form
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander played one of his worst game of the year and he couldn’t have picked a worse time to do so. The MVP turned the ball over 8 times, ruining all the good things he’s done in this series and putting his team in a difficult spot ahead of Sunday’s game. Jalen Williams also had a horrible showing, finishing with just 16 points and a team worst -40 on the plus/minus.
Indiana Pacers Stats & Form
A total of 6 Pacers players scored in double figures on Thursday with the high point man being Obi Toppin who had 20 off the bench, as well as 6 rebounds. Indiana shared the ball way more than the Thunder did, winning the assist battle 23 to 14.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs Indiana Pacers: Head-to-Head

Betting tip and prediction: Oklahoma City Thunder vs Indiana Pacers (22.06.2025)
For the first time since 2016 and the series between the Cavaliers and Warriors, we have a Game 7 in the NBA Finals. The two teams have been evenly matched so far in almost every statistical category imaginable, Game 7 will come down to who wants it more. Playing at home gives a huge edge to Oklahoma City as they’ve built a strong fort at Paycom Center this season, however if you are backing them you have to ask yourself do you trust this team? We all still remember their NBA Cup Final loss against the Milwaukee Bucks from earlier in the season when they also scored well below 100 points. The Pacers on the other hand have nothing to lose. Nobody expected this team to get this far and not a lot of people saw them putting up this much resistance in the Finals. Indiana has played a Game 7 a total of 10 times in their franchise history, they are 4-6 SU in those games. The Thunder are 3-2 SU in 5 such games this season, including a Game 7 win over the Denver Nuggets earlier in this postseason run. Pacers coach Rick Carlisle has a championship under his belt and is 2-0 SU with this team in Game 7s. It is going to be a feisty game from both sides, there is no doubt about it. However, we just feel like playing at home gives the Thunder the definitive edge here. In 55 games played at home this year they are 46-9 SU, it’s just too hard to look past that. Let’s back OKC to cover at home and clinch this series on Sunday night.

The sense of urgency was at it’s peak for the Knicks on Thursday as they successfully avoided elimination for the first time this postseason. Jalen Brunson delivered once more with 32 points in just 34 minutes played, while Karl-Anthony Towns chipped in with 24 points and 13 rebounds. New York appears to have found something in this series, especially on the defensive end so it’ll be interesting to see if they can apply it in Game 6 on Saturday.

Consistency has eluded the Timberwolves in this series, especially their two best players Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle. In the biggest game of the season Ant Man came up with just 16 points, while Randle had a nightmare game scoring only 5 on 1-for-7 shooting. The duo also combined to commit 10 turnovers between them, that’s just not going to cut it at this stage.

Nikola Jokic didn’t take as many threes as we’re accustomed to seeing him in this series. Instead he stuck to his post game, finishing with 29 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assist on a very efficient 9-for-14 from the field. Christian Braun’s performance also deserves praise, he was the team’s 3rd leading scorer with 23 points and 11 rebounds.
Derrick White scored 30+ in a postseason game for the 4th time in his career, while Jaylen Brown added 26 and 12 assists in the Game 5 win. Luka Kornet was the unsung hero as he scored 10 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and blocked 7 shots in what was his best game of the postseason so far. Kristaps Porzingis really struggled once again, he is having difficulties breathing according to head coach Joe Mazzulla, the Celtics would be better off just shutting him down for the season at this point.

Jonathan Kuminga continued his solid play with another 23 point game, but the rest of the Warriors just couldn’t follow his lead in Game 4. The Warriors actually led at half-time, but they fell apart in the 3rd quarter getting outscored by 22 points which ultimately decided the game. There will be changes made ahead of Game 5, Golden State is in a position where they don’t have much to lose as nobody will expect them to turn around a 3-1 deficit here.
Game 4 was a collapse of epic proportions for the Cavaliers who were down by as many as 44 points at one point. Donovan Mitchell got only 12 points in 20 mins played, he didn’t play the 2nd half due to an ankle injury which now puts him in doubt for Tuesday’s game. If there is one positive to take away from Sunday’s game it’s the fact that Darius Garland had 21 points in his best game since returning from that toe injury.

Fred VanVleet once again stepped up big time, showing everyone why he’s an NBA champion by scoring 29 points, including 6 threes to carry Houston to a massive win in Game 6. It wasn’t just him though, as a team the Rockets played exceptional defense and also attacked the rim relentlessly resulting in 46 free throw attempts.
James harden really left it all out there in Game 6, playing 47 minutes and leading his team in scoring with 28 to go along with his 8 assists. Kawhi Leonard also added 27 while Norman Powell chipped in with 24 in what was his best game of the series so far. Ivica Zubac had only 10 points, but had some crucial defensive stops against Joker, recording 3 blocks total in that Game 6 win.

The Pistons built a double-digit advantage for the 4th time this postseason, but unlike in previous games they didn’t let this one slip away. There’s something about Madison Square Garden and this team – they recorded their 4th win of the season there on Tuesday. Cade Cunningham led the way with 24 points, while Ausar Thompson had his best ever postseason game with 22 points.

Relying on 40-year old LeBron James to carry you while playing 46 minutes in a Game 4 scenario on the road isn’t the best of ideas. Even though James delivered 27 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists, he is past the moment in his career when he could carry an entire franchise on his back. He got 38 points from Doncic and 23 from Hachimura, but the Lakers issues start and finish on the defensive end.
Orlando’s reliance on Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner continued in Game 4 and despite those two combining for 55 points the team just couldn’t do more than 98 total. They shot the three-ball at just 26%, with none of the bench players being able to score one from deep. In order to beat this Celtics team you have to play a complete all-around game and Orlando just isn’t up to that task right now.
