Our MLS Double – 15/2 Betting Tip
The MLS season continues this week with plenty of exciting games to whet your appetite. There are just two games taking place on Thursday night, but I think there is still value to be found in backing two away wins. Without doubt, the biggest game of the night is taking place in Los Angeles where LAFC are hosting LA Galaxy. In this preview I will be taking a look at both matches and giving you a double bet which I think represents great value. Orlando FC vs New York City FC
New York City FC are about to embark on a tough run of two games in four days, on opposite sides of the country and they will be desperate to kick things off with a win against Orlando FC. This New York City FC side have won each of their last three matches against Orlando FC by an aggregate scoreline of 8-0 and they will come into this match high on confidence after three straight wins without conceding. Star striker, David Villa faces a race against time to be fit for this match, as do fellow forwards Jo Inge Berget and Ismael Tajouri-Shradi. The odds of 11/8 on NYFC to win this match away from home have really tempted me in here and I’m backing them to pick up the victory.
New York FC to win – 11/8
Los Angeles FC vs LA Galaxy
The Los Angeles derby, dubbed ‘El Trafico’ takes place at Banc of California Stadium on Thursday night in a hotly anticipated encounter. This is just the second ever meeting of these sides and after LA Galaxy won the first encounter at home, they will be hopeful of earning a double over their city rivals in this one. The LA Galaxy come into this match in fine form, having won three matches in a row and going unbeaten through seven. LAFC were also in fine form until their trip to Minnesota in their last match where they were humiliated 5-1. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is obviously the main man for LA Galaxy and with the striker in fine form recently, it’d take a brave man to bet against him scoring in this one. LA Galaxy have the big game players and when you look at their recent form, I think they are a great bet at odds of 27/10 in this one.
