Novak Djokovic News & Form

Novak Djokovic of Serbia

Novak Djokovic of Serbia

The World No. 1 was completely unstoppable in Week 2. First, Djokovic hammered the World No. 66 Ugo Humbert 6-3 6-2 6-3 on Manic Monday, and then, the four-time Wimbledon champ humiliated the 21st seed David Goffin 6-4 6-0 6-2 in the quarterfinal on Wednesday.

Djokovic had no mercy against Goffin, converting seven of his ten break points while winning 39 of 76 points on David’s serve. It was Novak’s 70th victory at Wimbledon along with ten losses, while Djokovic is 93-18 on the grass court in his career.

Roberto Bautista Agut News & Form

The 31-year old Spaniard finally lost a set at this year’s Wimbledon, defeating the 26th seed Guido Pella in four sets 7-5 6-4 3-6 6-3 in the quarterfinal. Bautista Agut had four winners and 15 unforced errors fewer than Pella while saving 11 of 13 break points.

Prior to the clash with Pella, Roberto thrashed off the 28th seed Benoit Paire and the 10th seed Karen Khachanov. Bautista Agut is having a nice season, recording 28 wins and 11 losses while winning the title in Doha on a hard court. Roberto is 31-12 on the grass court and 10-49 against the top-10 players n his career.

Djokovic vs Bautista Agut Head to Head

Novak Djokovic won seven of his ten meetings with Roberto Bautista Agut, but the Spaniard defeated Novak in the previous two encounters this season. Roberto won both duels in three sets, outlasting Djokovic in Doha in January and in Miami in March. This will be their first head-to-head duel on the grass court.

Betting Odds and Predictions: Djokovic vs Bautista Agut

Although Bautista Agut beat Djokovic twice this year, Novak is listed as a massive favourite to win this match. You can take Djokovic at 1/12 odds with Ladbrokes and 888Sport, while Bautista Agut is available at 8/1 with Bet365. The price on Djokovic to win in straight sets is 11/20 with William Hill that offers 5/4 odds on Bautista Agut to win a set.

However, the bookies won’t be surprised if they see a tiebreak in this match, and the odds are 1/1 with Coral. Also, the line on the total games has been set at 32.5 with Betway with the over at 10/11 odds and the under at 4/5 odds.

Our Djokovic vs Bautista Agut Wimbledon 2019 Betting Tip

Bautista Agut is playing in an excellent form at the moment, and he’s certainly capable of making this clash interesting to watch. Still, I don’t think he’ll be able to beat Novak Djokovic for the third time in a row. Djokovic was impressive this week, especially against Goffin, and Bautista Agut is a similar type of player as the Belgian.

It’s hard to find the value here whereas Djokovic is a firm favourite to win in straight sets, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Bautista Agut finds a way to earn a set. Roberto is an experienced player, so I hope he’ll cope with pressure well. Hereof, I would go with the over 31.5 games at 17/20 odds with BetVictor.
